What Health Problems Might
Occur from Molds?
Indoor mold exposure does not always present a health problem. Some people, however, may be more sensitive to molds. People with allergies, asthma, compromised immune systems or other lung diseases can experience health problems when exposed to mold. Those with compromised immune systems, including infants, or lung diseases are particularly susceptible to fungal infections as a result to mold exposure.
A variety of ailments have been attributed to mold exposure. These ailments range from the more common, allergy-like symptoms, to the more rare, severe reactions.
