Linda Moin Moroney is a senior associate with our San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, specializing in complex property damage issues, environmental matters, business and employment litigation. Notably, she has had considerable experience litigating mold claims – including property damage, personal injury, and product liability aspects – on behalf of building owners, managers, developers, contractors, manufacturers, environmental consultants, realtors, insurance brokers/agents and several others. Ms. Moroney is an active participant in both the Environmental and the Tort and Product Liability practice groups at the firm. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Moroney also developed considerable experience in employment and construction litigation.
In 1991, Ms. Moroney obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and French Literature from New York University, where she was a Regents Scholar, an Alumni Scholar, served as President of the United Nations Association, and graduated with honors. Ms. Moroney attended the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 1994. That same year, she became a member of the State Bar of California as well as the United States District Court, Northern District of California and Central District of California. In addition to being involved with the state and local Bar associations, she is an active member of the San Francisco Chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
