As Senior Counsel in Gordon & Rees’ San Francisco office, Molly McKay’s practice focuses on commercial litigation specializing in toxic tort, environmental, products liability, and other types of personal injury cases. Her toxic tort experience is well-rounded and includes mold, asbestos and dry cleaning chemical contamination cases.
Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. McKay developed considerable experience in the assisted housing industry and in construction defect litigation.
Ms. McKay received her Juris Doctor degree from Hastings College of the Law, where she received a Public Interest Scholar Certificate and the American Jurisprudence Award for Negotiation & Mediation Practice and Process. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Ms. McKay is a member of the State Bar of California and a former board member of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALiF). Ms. McKay has been nationally recognized for her work in securing civil rights for the lesbian and gay community and has been featured in several documentaries on this subject.
