Keith Cramer is a partner and director of the Construction Group for Gordon & Rees' Southern California offices and practices throughout California, Texas and Nevada. His practice primarily focuses on construction (including construction products, construction defects/water intrusion, mechanic's liens, delay claims and construction contracts), products liability, mold/sick building claims and environmental claims. He has represented product manufacturers, developers, design professionals and contractors and has been national coordinating counsel for clients with mass litigation throughout the United States.
Mr. Cramer has been involved in complex litigation on behalf of his clients in state and federal courts, in arbitrations and in mediations in California, Nevada, Texas and other states. He has advised clients on dispute resolution, claim avoidance, insurance (including OCIP/Wrap policies) and a wide variety of other issues. Additionally, he has been a presenter at seminars on the topics of building cladding systems, water intrusion, mold claims, defense of product manufacturers and OCIP/Wrap insurance policies. His practice areas also include business litigation, intellectual property, ADA claims, and general civil litigation.
In 2008 and 2009, Law & Politics magazine named Mr. Cramer a San Diego "Super Lawyer" in its research of the top 5% of Southern California lawyers in the categories of Construction Litigation, Business Litigation, and Professional Liability Defense. Additionally, Mr. Cramer was recently named a "Top Attorney" in the category of Real Estate/Construction Litigation by The Daily Transcript, a Southern California Business Publication.
Mr. Cramer received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law. He received his bachelors degree in biochemistry/cell biology from the University of California, San Diego. He is admitted to practice in California, Texas and Nevada. He is also a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
